Collaborative Communities Workshops:

Funding Strategy – Survival and Resilience

An interactive two session practical workshop which will help your organisation work towards a sustainable funding strategy:

Transition to Trading

Trading provides a good source of income for Third Sector organisations and is an integral part of becoming a social enterprise. This workshop provides an overview of the things to consider and be aware of when deciding upon developing a trading activity; including some useful tools to help select and guide your new trading activity.

Sustainable Attitudes and Culture

The attitudes and beliefs of staff, committee boards and volunteers combine to establish an organisational culture. Sometimes the culture of an organisation is a deliberate construction but often the culture grows in a more organic way and represents a melting pot of different views and understanding about what your organisation represents. In some cases, this culture can be antagonistic to your organisations needs and undermine growth and development creating a static position.

This workshop provides the opportunity to identify whether your organisations culture is helping or hindering your plans, particularly with a view to your financial sustainability. Through identifying your cultural ‘soft spots’ you can begin to take active measures that will establish the kind of culture you need, establishing positive attitudes that will reinforce all your work and pave the way for success.

Social Investment

This interactive workshop provides an overview of securing alternative sources of investment for socially beneficial activities and exploring what organisations need to consider and how they should prepare before applying for loan finance.

“It’s a valuable resource and a fantastic help in finding out about grants.
"There just isn’t the time to fully investigate the potential and availability of new grants, good advice is vital,”
Jenny Sims, founder and CEO of Pembrokeshire FRAME Ltd.
